The time has finally come for me to make some closing statements for our 2013 Fantasy baseball season.  The season was was full of action to say the least, and im sure being in our 3rd year of the keepers will also be quite busy in a very near future based on what went on in the offseason in our hockey league; so certainly looking forward to that.  Few things of note; first and foremost Congrats to our new chump...oops i meant champ Smiley (sorry donks, old habits are hard to kick) ...after a loooong layoff (7years) he comes back and shows us who's boss (but i always say its much harder to hold the title rather than win it, so lets see if you can build on that) I applaud your ability to stay put and not venture your future, even though Felix tried very very very very hard to catch you all season, while proving again that (not all deals that look good actually payoff).

Felix i say all your deals definetely did not prove worth it as you barely held on to third; nevermind get to first.  Robby on the other hand (clapping), hanging out in the middle all year long then pulling a small deal getting Utley and Castro and that all your powerful team needed once again finishing in the top three...i bet you Donkey did not want to see baseball for one more month cause who knows??? Nevertheless the trophy needs to be passed on...im sure your wife will appreciate that Wink

Irvin you fell just short...but i know Felix was sweating bullets...you too traded some keepers and came away with nothing to show for it
Ilya you keep climbing yearly, based on that looks like top three is a possibility next year...keep it going
Myself what can i say (I'm buying, im selling, no im buying, nope selling, maybe buying then selling just to buy again) at the end of it all I did get Donaldson and maybe i can use Y. Escobar  as well...
Marat same for you ...(not sure if im buying or selling) Tried to sell late but Robby didnt take the D. Wright plunge (gave him the 2nd place, otherwise he wouldnt get it) and thank god i didnt pass Donaldson for Wright...that would be biggest mistake on my end
Russ in what is now official has played his last fantasy baseball season...and maybe for the best but i have to say a team that doesnt sell in his position and try to get some future talent is definetely playing behind the 8 ball...and you wouldnt be successful...hate to see you go, but cant keep you against your will either (OWNER NEEDED)
FYI Russ has only finished in the top three 5 times in 13years, while winning only once back in 2009, in comparison Rob has finished in the top three 5 times in the last 7 years, while winning in twice in the last 3 years
Max i have to give you credit...u never gave but probably should have...and get some keepers while at it
Robert (Rookie) what can i say, you did give up and pretty early too (but u did get out from the basement) but you collected some goods while at it, so lets see what you can do with that sorry ass team that u inherited (btw the owner that takes over Russ's team may have an even harder uphill battle than you did)

...and lastly Boris unfortunately things didnt end well here on more than one aspect; with his worst placement in five years, nevertheless i would like to thank you for the work that you put into our league (updates, spreadsheets, etc.) im sorry that things had to end the way they did. Your assistance was greatly appreciated, but as you already know your team will be taken over by another owner (whose info i will provide to the league once he gives me green light 100%, which i expect in the very near future) Thanks for the 5 fun years and hopefully we will ALL learn from our own mistakes (or for the benefit of doubt MISUNDERSTANDINGS) But fantasy sports have nothing to do with our personal lives; hopefully all is well in the family.

NOW for the final $$$ Breakdown: (FYI Marat paid $279 for our baseball league on fantrax, the fees are $25/per team bu this amount will just be taken out from the league fee of $150...so no one has to pay anything extra...and Donks sorry but winner pays $30...thats only fair since other way i have to deal with cents)

1. Staten Island Snake Eyes wins $700 (1st place) + $45 (2nd place Roto) + $40 (8 weeks won) + $30 (3 months won) - $150 (League Fee) - $20 (4 bi-monthly moves) = Grand Total of $645
2. BK Brigade wins $420 (2nd Place) + $50 (Copa de mundo winner) + $10 (2 weeks won) + $10 (1 month won) - $150 (League Fee) - $5 (1 bi-weekly move) = Total is $335
3. Odessa Sailors $280 (3rd Place) + $30 (3rd place roto) + $10 (1 month won) + $5 (1 week won) - $150 (League fee) - $20 (4 bi-weekly moves) = $155
4. Fulton Diamond Cutters win $15 (3 weeks won) + $10 (1 month won) - $150 (League fee) - $20 (4 bi-weekly moves) = You owe me $145
5. Ocean Avenue Sounders win $5 (1 week won) - $150 (League fee) - $20 (4 bi-weekly moves) = You owe me $165
6. Black Sea Pirates win $75 (1st place Roto) + $ 10 (2 weeks won) - $150 (league Fee) - $ 20 (4 bi-weekly moves) = I owe $85
7. Staten Island Maccabees win $ 5 (1 week won) - $ 25 (5 bi-weekly moves) , you have already pd for the league so another $20 for the league, but the league owes you $255 for the fee you paid to fantrax ($255 is with your input of $25 into it since you also owe another $20 for the moves...correct me if im wrong but $235 is what is due to you after i collect all the loot???)
8. Wall Street Bulls win $ 30 (6 weeks won) ***How does one explain winning six weeks and almost finishing in the bottom three...thank god for wekly prizes*** - $150 (League fee) - $15 (3 bi-weekly moves) = You owe me $135
9. Brighton Beach Bombers wins $5 (1 week won) - $150 (league fee) - $ 20 (4 bi-weekly moves) - $50 (9th place finish) = you owe me $215
10. Brooklyn Ringers wins absolutely nothing (one of two teams that didnt win a single prize this year) -$150 (League fee) - $10 (2 bi-weekly moves) - $75 (1oth place finish) = You owe me $235
11. B-Train Monsters (the second team that wins Zilch) - $150 (League Fee) - $15 (3 bi-weekly moves) - $100 (Last place finish) = You owe me $265

***EVERYONE PLEASE MAKE THE ARRANGEMENTS TO MEET WITH ME OR PASS THE $$ THROUGH SOMEONE ELSE, WHICHEVER WAY WORKS FOR YOU.  THE WINNERS WOULD LIKE TO COLLECT ON THEIR WINNINGS.  I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO COLLECT $$ FOR THE CURRENT HOCKEY SEASON, SO THOSE WHO PLAY CAN YOU PLEASE ADD $150 TO WHAT EVER IT IS THAT YOU OWE.  DONKEYS BIRTHDAY IS OCT.16 I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE ALL THE MONEY IN BEFORE THAT SO A MAN CAN BY HIMSELF SOME NOOKY TIME...LOL (THAT WAS OBVIOUSLY A JOKE, BU THE REQUEST WAS SERIOUS....SO PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE***

Thanks everyone, good luck in whatever it is that u do...hockey football basketball soccer golf nascar bowling...or just next year in baseball

...and if you are not down with that ...2 words for you "_ _ _ _   _ _!!!"
