For Example, P. Sharp im asking 2nd round Last Season P. Sharp had 33g, 36a, 69pts and is ranked 16th overall for 2012-13 season (if there is one) Here is a list of players drafted in the 2nd round of last year P. Kane - 23g, 43a - 66pts A. Kopitar - 25g, 51a - 76pts I. Kovalchuk - 37g, 46a - 83pts E. Staal - 24g, 46a - 70pts J. Thorton - 18g, 59a - 77pts J, Carter - 21g, 13a - 34pts M. Richards - 18g, 26a - 44pts H. Zetty - 22g, 47a - 69pts List of players drafted un the 3rd round. Z. Parise - 31g, 38a - 69pts V. Lecav - 22g,27a - 49pts A. Semin - 21g, 33a - 54pts J. Igininla 32g, 35a - 67pts D. Heatly- 24g, 29a - 53pts I can keep going.... so why would i give up a player who is clearly worth 2nd or 3rd round? When I have him as a 6th round keeper. Granted he might not perform the same numbers but I would rather take my chances. I also understand that there players who drafted later who are better then Sharp, but I can also say the opposite. |
