You wake up the night after and it still does not feel good. Might even say you feel worse than you did last night. The feeling of emptiness sinks in. It will pass for sure and long summer might not help it, but you look back and remember good things and look forward to things that be even better.

We do have a young team that should only get better and though things won't be easy next year, other teams will be back. Pens, Flyers, and others will not let you just fly over them. It will be a battle. But exciting one for sure. Can't wait. Bring it on. Good season Rangers, tried your hardest and had to learn how to lose before you can win.

Kudos to the Devils to pushing their way through to the Stanley Cup Finals. And though I still can't and won't wish them good luck in it, I have to admit the did everything possible to make sure the history does not repeat itself even after it looked eery similar for a while in game 6. Things flipped and that is where I see an opportunity.

All of us (Rangers, Devils, Media, Fans) were stuck on history of 1994 and with the the OT goal Devils rewrote it. But for me the history just might have flipped.
1994 Devils were the young team pushing hard and losing to a very experienced Ranger's team. Only to win the cup the next year. They had to lose in order to learn how to win. And the cups kept coming. 2012 young Rangers team squared of against more veteran laden devil's team and pushed hard to advance. I guess the had to lose, to learn how to win. Back to the Future.

Thank you Rangers for a great memorable season. And Once again, Can't wait for next year.

Lets go Rangers. I still Believe.
