I would like to congratulate everyone on the completion of our newly reinvented 1st annual FH Draft. Hopefully everyone had fun, i know i sure enjoyed it. On behalf of the whole league i would like to thank the "Goon"/Khalfin family for hosting this glorified event. And i have to say MamaBear (LOL) did a great job. (Oh and was i the only one who loved "Atos"? Isnt he the cutest, not like some other dog that i wont mention here)
Anyhow, now back to business; Our pre-season waivers will start on Monday September 26th, and will be on Mon and Thur until the 6th of October (which is when the season starts). All claims are to be submitted (most likely, have to confirm with him first) to Mr.Donkey via email (it will be provided if you dont already know it) All claims are to be submitted before 7pm on the above mentioned days of the week (claims submitted at 7.01pm will be applied to the next waiver time slot) The rules stay the same from previous years ($100 virtual dollars to be spent at ur leisure, but be wise so it doesnt run out) It is not a first come first serve system so whether u submit ur claim 3 days or 2mins before deadline; its still a legit claim.
This season we are also going away from locking lineups at the deadline; what does this mean? When our trade deadlien passes sometime end of February we will still be allowed to interchange peole from bench into the lineup if the salary permits u to do so. As some of you may have heard we were thinking of also adding weekly waiver pickups (not mandatory, but rather as needed using the waiver order; what this means is that if you picked a player in week one you go to the back of the line; so if next week u make a claim and the person higher in waiver order makes the claim for the same player....he gets it, not u). HOWEVER; we decided that this will take away a lot from our current monthly waivers (lots of dealings usually happen around the waiver periods and we dont want to mess with that); so instead the new system will allow weekly waiver pickups (upto 2 players/wk) after the February deadline. You will be allowed to make those pickups up until 2 WEEKS before the seasons end (again these are as needed pickups, if u dont want to u dont have to). So to summarize:
1) First 3 months = nothing changes from before (3 months = 3 waiver periods)
2) After trading deadline we are all allowed to make weekly pickups (upto 2 players/wk) WAIVER ORDER!!! (u pick u go to the back of the line)
3) Lineups do not LOCK at the deadline (we are allowed to move players in and out of the lineup till the last day, hence having your maximal lineup at the end of the year)
Good Luck to all, please feel free to express your questions to our help desk support Mr. Zettenberg 917-685-1321 (LOL). Just kidding you know whom to reach.
Rules are subject to change as needed and if deemed so by the commisioners office. You will be notified if such decision occurs
