Had a busy week or so and completely missed the news on a possible disappearance of a legendary club.
Growing up in Moldova, as you can guess I never had a local ice hockey team to cheer for, so the first time I remember myself watching a hockey game on TV with my father was Dynamo Moscow game against Traktor.  My father was a huge Dynamo fan and I grew up one as well. I still remember those year after year disappointments when we were almost always edged by a far superior CSKA. But more often than not Dynamo was probably the only team who always threatened that supremacy. And times they have won, were very special.
Coming over to America in a pre Internet age made it very difficult to follow my favorite club, but I still tried by looking up the standings in Sovetski Sport bought on Brighton Beach. It is sad to think that this story franchise will no longer be and their Logo will never mean the same. (by the way that blue and white Russian D in my opinion one of the most perfect Logos in all sport)
If this legendary team does disappear, It is with a very heavy heart I would say RIP Dynamo Moscow.
